WELCOME to our website and to Saint Patrick’s Boys’ National School.
Our school is in Church Road, in the town of Carndonagh in beautiful Inishowen (Inis Eoghain), Donegal, in Ireland’s most northerly peninsula.

The original school building on this site was officially opened in 1962 and blessed by Monsignor Joe O Doherty. The school had, prior to this, been located at School Lane, Malin Road, Carndonagh and had been opened in 1894. Presently the school has 146 pupils on rolls.

Come, explore and enjoy our site!

Mrs. Anne Mc Laughlin
Principal Teacher

Our son started school this year and has already achieved so much. We are delighted with how much he has been encouraged in every way. He loves going in each day and we feel we have made a great choice for him!

School aims:

We aim to provide our boys with a learning environment that is safe, warm and caring. Our aim is to ensure that all our pupils have the opportunity and guidance to achieve their full potential academically, spiritually, physically, socially and emotionally.

Attendance for November was 95%

Good job!
